MuseScore

MuseScore

It’s like Microsoft Word but for music.  MuseScore is great for either writing your own music or it can be used to create piano tracks.  I have used it extensively to turn choir music into practice tracks for each part. For example, I can make an mp3 with the Soprano 2 part playing loud with the rest of the notes in the background. This allows whoever is singing Soprano2 to listen to and learn their part.
